The biggest turn-off for us not to want to try this restaurant was its quite punny name leftover from the beginnings of the opening of DCA when everything had weird names. However, when we finally ate there, it was fun. You can eat your food at the many tables just on the other side of the wall to the northeast, or you can ask for it to go and take your meal with you. When we ate there, the line was quite long and the food took a while.

There are other places at Disneyland that serve hot dogs that are quite generic and boring. However, the hot dogs at Award Wieners are very specialized and amazing tasting! From an all-beef dog to sausage, from barbecue to chili dog, from a spicy dog to even a mushroom vegetarian option, the food is very flavorful. You also get homemade spiral-cut fries on the side which are a nice touch.

The prices for a meal are about $9 a piece, not including a drink. They have a wide variety of drinks you can add on. The hot dog was a fair size and the potato bun makes it feel more gourmet than a boring generic hot dog, so I think it was well worth the price. They aren't really big enough to share unlike some other quick service restaurants, so the total price for a family may add up quick. Still, check out this tasty quick service restaurant if you're in Hollywood Land.
